Terms and conditions
1. Provider and scope
These terms govern the use of scriptonline.ie, operated by MEDINOW Sp. z o.o., Aleja Wojska Polskiego 33/9, 10-226 Olsztyn, Poland. Scriptonline is part of the MEDINOW group.
2. What the contract covers
The subject of the contract is a remote medical assessment: a doctor reviews your answers and decides whether a document can be issued.
We do not sell medicines and we do not guarantee that any document will be issued. The decision rests solely with the doctor and may be a refusal, in particular where a physical examination is required.
3. Services and prices
Prices are shown in euro and include tax.
- Repeat Prescription - 19,90 €
- Weight Loss Treatment - 29,90 €
- Contraception - 19,90 €
4. Formation of the contract
Submitting the form together with payment is a binding offer. The contract is formed when we confirm by email. Keep that email: it contains your order number.
5. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We neither see nor store your full card details.
6. What the fee covers, and when we refund
The fee is payment for the medical assessment, not the purchase price of a document. The assessment takes place even where it ends in a refusal.
- If the doctor refuses on medical grounds, we refund the fee in full.
- If we ask you for documents or a clarification and you do not reply, the assessment is treated as delivered and no refund is due. We always write to the address you gave us.
- If you give inaccurate or incomplete information that makes assessment impossible, no refund is due either.
Refunds go back to the original payment method; your bank may take a few working days to credit it.
7. What we do not issue
Narcotic and psychotropic substances are excluded from cross-border prescriptions (Article 11(6) of Directive 2011/24/EU). Beyond that, as our own commercial decision, we do not prescribe benzodiazepines, Z-drugs, opioids, stimulants or gabapentinoids.
If your request concerns such a substance, the form tells you before payment and the order is not accepted.
8. Delivery of the document
If the doctor decides to issue a document, you receive it as a PDF by email, drawn up in accordance with the model in the Annex to Implementing Directive 2012/52/EU.
Please note: the pharmacy decides for itself whether to dispense. A foreign prescription may be refused, for example where the product is not available locally or where the pharmacist has doubts. We therefore cannot promise that it will be dispensed.
9. Right of cancellation
As a consumer you have a right to cancel. The details and the model form are on the Cancellation page.
The right ends early once the service has been fully performed, provided performance began at your express request and you acknowledged that you would lose the right once the service was fully performed (Regulation 17 of the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013; Article 16(a) of Directive 2011/83/EU). You give that acknowledgement in the order form.
10. Complaints
Send complaints to info@medinow.app, quoting your order number. We reply within 14 days.
11. Liability
This service is not a substitute for emergency care. If your symptoms are acute, call 112 or 999, or contact an out-of-hours service.
We are not liable for loss arising from inaccurate information you supplied.
12. Changes
We may change these terms. The version that applies to an order is always the one in force when the order was placed.
13. Governing law
Polish law applies. You keep the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer provisions of the country where you habitually reside (Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 - Rome I).
